Responsible for as driving traffic through global paid search campaigns to landing pages and micro sites with the goal of user downloading a whitepaper, viewing a demo, etc. as well as the natural optimization of the multiple Winshuttle MODx based websites (US, French, German, etc) as well as the community site powered by Telligent. In this role I reported directly to the CEO managing a fairly tight budget. My marketing dashboard determined a clear marketing plan in which I was responsible for reporting on successes for periodic board meetings. I managed copywriters, developers, and designers for various projects around paid search marketing, natural search marketing, social media marketing, and website management. I worked in conjunction with the VP of Product in messaging through the process to ensure usability as subscriptions were completed ending in higher use of the product, as well as worked closely with the affiliate marketing channel supporting with landing pages, banners, and paid search campaigns.

SEO Manager – Classmates Online
I was hired as the expert to manage the relationship between the agency hired to assist with the paid and natural search marketing for Classmates.com. Mainly responsible for the search optimization of the Classmates.com website starting with cleaning up URL structure and exposing as much content as applicable in order to generate rankings for related terms. Eventually worked on two projects that targeted useablity sear trends: First project was pulling all of the schools and affiliations in the database (over 200,000) and optimizing a page for each with a list of members in order to target users searching for schools – the pages maintained unique enough content so as not to get filtered out for duplicate content by the search engines. The second was a project around each member in the database (over 40 million) treating the profile as a landing page encouraging signups while maintaining unique content and beating out any potential competition for highly popular names.

Marketing Manager – Perfect Blend
Responsible for updating website, front end and back end after completely designing, and development completion in February of 2005. Also responsible for managing bookkeeping, working with accountant, President, and major share holders in budgeting, and Accounts Payable. Roughly 80% of my responsibilities included all graphics, and marketing; Working with President, and Vice president in designing brochures, flyers, signs, etc. and promotional campaigns such as mailers, sponsorships, events, etc. Designing product labels, and communicating with printer to produce final product packaging.
Originally hired as a freelance Website Designer to redesign, and develop existing website as well as obtaining first position on Google, Yahoo and MSN for “Organic Fertilizer”; eventually asked to take position as an Office Manager. Duties as Office Manager included: State Registrations (Compliance), Bookkeeping, Managing staff, working with current Graphic Designer on Brochures, Flyers and Labels. Eventually took over Graphic Designer’s duties in creating new Labels, Brochures, Packaging Designs, Promotional Flyers, Large 20-40 page brochures, etc.
